The press conference introduced that since the the State Council Work Safety Committee issued the "Fifteen Hard Measures" for work safety in April, local party committees and governments at all levels, relevant departments and units have paid close attention to promoting the implementation, and the emergency management departments in Beijing and Anhui have continuously tightened the responsibility for work safety by carrying out special safety inspections and strengthening the power of safety supervision and law enforcement.

It is an important content of the "fifteen hard measures" to carry out the national inspection of production safety in depth and solidly. The the State Council Safety Committee has also carried out comprehensive supervision on this, and all localities and relevant departments and units have carried out comprehensive self-inspection and special supervision in key areas. Up to now, 14.235 million hidden dangers have been investigated, and the rectification rate is 94.5%.

Among them, Beijing has formulated 36 specific measures with local characteristics in accordance with the 15 measures for national safety production, and launched the "100-day Action" for safety production rectification at the end of July. Up to now, all districts and departments in the city have inspected more than 127,000 units, investigated 16,741 hidden problems in accounts, and eliminated 16,028 items, with a write-off rate of 95.7%. Through special rectification, the total number of accidents was greatly reduced.

From January 2019 to June 2022, the province’s procuratorial organs accepted and prosecuted 457 cases of crimes endangering production safety with 708 people. In 2021, the province accepted more than 15,500 reports of various types, and cashed in 7.95 million yuan of reward funds, ranking second and first in the country respectively. The combination of multiple measures and rewards and punishments has effectively cracked down on illegal and criminal activities in production safety and promoted the steady improvement of the situation in production safety.
